Scentia MiniPod Diffuser — User Manual & Setup Guide
Everything you need to set up, charge, operate, clean, and troubleshoot your Scentia MiniPod — the compact cordless cold-air diffuser built for personal spaces, desks, bedrooms, and the car.

The Scentia MiniPod is a portable, battery-powered cold-air diffuser that atomizes pure essential oil into a fine dry mist — no water, no heat, no residue. A built-in 2000 mAh rechargeable battery and a Home / Car mode switch make it equally at home on your nightstand or in your cup holder. In Car mode, a vibration sensor wakes the diffuser when you start driving and lets it sleep when the car is parked.
What’s in the box

How to set up the Scentia MiniPod
Setup takes under a minute. Always keep the MiniPod upright once oil is added.

- Pull up the diffuser head and bottle. Lift them straight up out of the device.
- Twist off the bottle. Unscrew the 15 ml oil bottle from the diffuser head.
- Fill the bottle with essential oil. Add your Scentia diffuser oil. For the cleanest mist, use a low-viscosity, water-free fragrance oil designed for cold-air diffusers (all Scentia oils are formulated for this). The diffuser head fits most 15 ml bottles on the market.
- Reassemble. Screw the bottle back onto the diffuser head and place both back into the device.
- Power on. Long-press the power button to turn the MiniPod on.

Important: Keep the MiniPod vertical at all times once filled. Tilting or laying it flat can cause oil to overflow inside the unit and reduce performance.
How to charge the Scentia MiniPod
- Plug the included USB Type-C cable into the port on the side of the device.
- Connect the other end to a standard USB power source (computer, USB adapter, or car USB port).
- Watch the charging indicator: red means charging, green means fully charged.
- Full charge takes about 3.5 hours.
If the battery is fully exhausted, let it charge for at least 5 minutes before turning the MiniPod back on.
How to use the controls
The MiniPod has two top-mounted buttons — Power and Ambient Light — plus a Mode slide switch on the side for Home / Car mode.

Power / intensity (Grade)
- Long-press the power button to turn the MiniPod on or off.
- Once on, short-press the power button to cycle through three intensity grades: G1 → G2 → G3. Higher grades release more scent and use more oil.
Ambient light
With the MiniPod powered on, short-press the ambient light button to cycle the light through three colors: blue, orange, and purple, or turn it off.
Home / Car mode
Slide the Mode switch on the side to choose how the MiniPod runs:
- Home mode: Once powered on, the MiniPod runs continuously and auto-powers off after 3 hours. Pressing any button during the timer restarts the countdown.
- Car mode: The MiniPod uses a built-in vibration sensor. If there is no vibration for 1 minute, the unit goes into standby (air pump and indicator light turn off; charging light stays on). Any vibration — like the car starting to move — wakes it instantly and resumes diffusion.
Intensity, runtime & oil consumption
Each grade runs in short bursts with a rest interval between them. Actual consumption varies with oil viscosity and ambient temperature.
| Grade | Work time | Rest time | Consumption |
|---|---|---|---|
| G1 (lowest) | 5 sec | 150 sec | 0.03 g/hr |
| G2 (medium) | 10 sec | 120 sec | 0.07 g/hr |
| G3 (highest) | 10 sec | 60 sec | 0.15 g/hr |
| Grade | 15 ml bottle lasts | Battery per charge |
|---|---|---|
| G1 | ~50 (±2) days | ~40 (±1.5) hours |
| G2 | ~20 (±2) days | ~30 (±1.5) hours |
| G3 | ~10 (±2) days | ~20 (±1.5) hours |
Reference values are based on 8 hours of daily use at 20–25°C with a 15 ml bottle. For the best diffusion, use essential oils with a viscosity below 30 mPa·s at room temperature.
How to clean the Scentia MiniPod
Clean the MiniPod whenever you switch to a different scent, or if the mist output starts to weaken.
- Pull out the diffuser head from the device.
- Fill a larger container with rubbing (isopropyl) alcohol.
- Soak the diffuser head and the bottle for 5–10 minutes.
- Allow the diffuser head and the bottle to air-dry fully before reassembling.
Troubleshooting
The MiniPod isn’t producing any mist

- The air pump may be damaged — replace it with a new one.
- The inner tube may be loose — check and tighten it.
- Confirm the MiniPod is powered on (long-press the power button).
The mist is weak or faint
- Clean the atomizing core with alcohol or replace it.
- The gasket may be damaged or loose — tighten it or replace it.
- Check the inner tube is firmly connected.
- Use a low-viscosity oil (below 30 mPa·s) made for cold-air diffusers.
Oil is leaking from the unit
- The bottle may be loose — check and tighten it.
- The gasket in the atomized head may be damaged or loose — tighten it or replace it.
- Keep the MiniPod upright at all times.
The MiniPod is spitting or sprinkling oil droplets
- The atomizing head may be damaged — replace it with a new one.
- Make sure the MiniPod is upright; a tilted unit can sprinkle oil.
Abnormal noise
- The air pump may be loose — check and tighten it.

Frequently asked questions
Does the Scentia MiniPod use water?
No. The MiniPod is a waterless cold-air diffuser. It atomizes pure essential oil into a dry micro-mist, so there’s no water to add and no residue on surfaces.
Is the Scentia MiniPod cordless?
Yes. It runs on a built-in 2000 mAh rechargeable battery and charges over USB Type-C in about 3.5 hours. A single charge lasts up to ~40 hours on the lowest intensity setting.
Can I use the MiniPod in my car?
Yes. Slide the Mode switch to Car mode. The MiniPod will sleep when the car is parked and wake automatically when it senses motion, so it only runs while you’re driving. You can charge it from any USB port in the car.
How large an area does the MiniPod cover?
The MiniPod is sized for personal spaces — up to about 15 m² (roughly 1,600 cubic feet of air volume). It’s ideal for desks, nightstands, bathrooms, walk-in closets, and car interiors.
How long does a 15 ml bottle of oil last?
At 8 hours of daily use, a 15 ml bottle lasts roughly 50 days on G1, 20 days on G2, and 10 days on G3. Actual life depends on oil viscosity and ambient temperature.
What oils can I use in the MiniPod?
Use water-free, low-viscosity essential or fragrance oils made for cold-air diffusers (below 30 mPa·s viscosity). All Scentia diffuser oils are formulated for this system. Avoid thick, carrier-heavy oils, which can clog the atomizing core.
How do I switch between scents without mixing them?
Pull out the diffuser head, soak it and the bottle in rubbing alcohol for 5–10 minutes, then let them air-dry. This clears the atomizing core so each scent stays crisp.
Why isn’t my MiniPod misting?
If the battery is fully drained, charge for at least 5 minutes before retrying. Confirm the MiniPod is powered on (long-press power). If output stays weak, the atomizing core may be blocked — clean it with alcohol or replace it. See the troubleshooting section above for the full checklist.
What does the charging light mean?
Red means the MiniPod is charging. Green means it’s fully charged.
