What comes in a starter kit?
Each kit includes the diffuser plus your choice of fragrance oils — a single scent, a three-scent sample kit, or a discovery kit of larger bottles. You can also buy the diffuser on its own and choose oils separately.
Do I need a subscription?
No. Every Scentia diffuser and oil is sold outright, with no membership required to keep your warranty.

What exactly comes in a Scentia starter kit?
Every Scentia starter kit pairs a diffuser with three oils of your choice. You can pick three 20ml sample-size bottles, or upgrade to full-size oils (20ml, 50ml, 120ml, or 500ml) at checkout. Each kit arrives in branded packaging, ready to set up at home or give as a gift.
Can I pick which oils come in my kit?
Yes. On each starter kit product page, you can select our best seller trio (Miami One, Coastal, W Bliss — our most-loved Resort scents) or swap in any oils from our full collection. You can also upgrade the bottle size at checkout.
Which diffuser is right for my space?
Perfect for cars and small spaces up to 500 sq. ft. Features dual Car & Home modes, wireless battery-powered operation, ambient lighting, and a smart motion sensor.
How does the MiniPod motion sensor work?
The MiniPod has a built-in motion sensor designed for use in your car. When the car is moving, the diffuser actively releases fragrance. When you park and the car stops moving, it automatically pauses — so your battery and your fragrance both last longer. No buttons to press, no remembering to turn it off when you get out. The sensor works seamlessly on a 36-hour battery charge.
How long do the oils in my kit last?
Each oil bottle's duration depends on size and diffuser intensity:
- 20ml — about 2 weeks at moderate intensity
- 50ml — 4 to 6 weeks
- 120ml — 8 to 12 weeks
- 500ml — commercial or long-term use
Lower diffuser intensity extends each bottle's life. Higher intensity shortens it. Most customers who start with 20ml samples reorder larger sizes once they find their favorite scent.
Can I return the diffuser if it doesn't work for me?
Yes — we offer a 30-day return on unused diffusers in original packaging. If you've opened or used the oils that came with the kit, those can't be returned for hygiene reasons. Returns can be initiated by emailing cs@scentiausa.com. Original shipping isn't refunded.
Will the diffuser work with non-Scentia oils?
Our diffusers are designed and calibrated for Scentia oils, which are formulated specifically for cold-air diffusion. Other waterless fragrance oils may work, but we can't guarantee performance or fragrance throw. Avoid diluted oils or essential oils with carrier oils — they will likely clog the unit and void the warranty.
Do I have to subscribe to buy a starter kit?
No. Every starter kit is a one-time purchase. If you'd like ongoing savings on the oils, you can subscribe to recurring oil deliveries and save 20% — pause, swap scents, or cancel anytime by email. Subscriptions have a 3-cycle minimum to keep the discount; cancel earlier and you can either pay back the discount or finish out the cycles. No hidden fees, no retention games. The diffuser itself isn't part of the subscription — it's a one-time purchase.
