Scentia Casa 2000 — User Manual & Setup Guide
Everything you need to install, program, refill, schedule, clean, and troubleshoot your Scentia Casa 2000 — the whole-home cold-air diffuser with on-device LCD scheduling, key-locked refill, optional HVAC connection, and Scentia app pairing.

The Scentia Casa 2000 (model SC2000) is a professional-grade cold-air diffuser designed for whole-home and commercial spaces. It atomizes pure essential oil into a fine dry mist — no water, no heat — with a 180 ml bottle that runs for weeks at typical settings. The Casa can stand alone in a hallway or utility room, or connect to your HVAC return duct (via the optional PU tube and quick connector) to distribute scent throughout the home through your existing ventilation. A built-in LCD touchscreen lets you program up to 5 weekly schedules directly on the device, and the unit also pairs with the Scentia app over Bluetooth.

How to install the Scentia Casa
The Casa can be placed on a flat surface or mounted on a wall near your HVAC return. The unit ships with a key-locked enclosure so the bottle can’t be accessed without unlocking.

Filling the bottle
- Open the machine with the key and leave the key in place.
- Pull out the atomizer head from the top of the unit.
- Take out the bottle, fill it with essential oil, and tightly screw the atomizer head back onto the bottle.
- Place the bottle back into the machine, align it with the seat, and press the atomizer head downward to seat it.
- Lock the machine with the key once refilling is complete.
Important: Keep the Casa upright at all times. Tilting or laying it flat will cause oil leakage and may damage the unit.
Mounting on a wall
- Position the bracket against the wall and mark the screw holes.
- Drill the holes on the wall and insert the expansion (wall) anchors into the holes.
- Drive a screw into each expansion anchor and tighten.
- Secure the bracket against the wall with the bracket screws.
- Align the unit with the holes on the bracket and secure the machine to the bracket with screws from the bottom.
HVAC connection (optional)
The Casa is HVAC-compatible: with the optional quick connector and PU tube, the diffused mist can be fed into your HVAC return duct so scent travels through the home via your existing ventilation. The on-device fan-control function (see below) is used to trigger the HVAC blower in sync with diffusion. Because every HVAC system is different, we recommend a professional installer connect the PU tube to your return duct. For installation help, contact cs@scentiausa.com.

How to use the LCD controls
The Casa is controlled through an LCD touch panel with four buttons — SET, ↑, ↓, and ENT — plus a power switch.

Turning the Casa on and off
Connect the power adapter and switch on the power. The Casa will beep, and the screen will show the current time and the current intensity grade. To turn the Casa off, switch off the power and disconnect.
Setting intensity (concentration grade)
From the home screen, tap ↑ to increase the intensity grade or ↓ to decrease it. The Casa has 5 intensity levels (G1 Gentle, G2 Moderate, G3 High, G4 Intense, and Custom).
Setting the current time
- Tap and hold SET for 3 seconds until you hear a beep.
- Tap ↑ or ↓ to select the current day of the week, then tap ENT.
- The time will start flashing — tap ↑ or ↓ to set the current time.
- Tap SET to save.
Programming weekly working periods
The Casa supports up to 5 separate working periods per week. The first period is factory-set to 07:00 start / 19:00 stop; the other four are blank (00:00) and ready to be programmed.
- Tap SET to begin programming the first working period. The working time will flash on screen.
- Tap ↑ or ↓ to set the start time, then tap ENT to confirm.
- Tap ENT to move through each setting in order: On/Off → start time → stop time → intensity grade → days of the week → next working period.
- For each setting, tap ↑ or ↓ to change the value.
- Repeat for additional working periods (up to 5 total).
Note: The start time and stop time of a working period cannot be identical — if they are, that period won’t display in the Scentia app.
Screen lock and unlock
If no button is pressed for 60 seconds, the screen locks automatically. To unlock, tap and hold SET for 3 seconds — the screen will light up. While the screen is locked, no buttons can be operated.
Fan control (HVAC trigger)
If you’ve connected the Casa to your HVAC system or an external fan:
- Long-press ↑ for 3 seconds to turn the fan on.
- Long-press ↓ for 3 seconds to turn the fan off.
Factory reset
Tap and hold ENT for about 5 seconds until you hear a beep. The Casa will restore its factory settings.
How to set up the Scentia app
The Scentia app (free on iOS and Android) lets you name your Casa, schedule fragrance times, and adjust intensity remotely over Bluetooth — in addition to the on-device LCD schedule.
- Download the app. Search “Scentia” in the Apple App Store or Google Play.
- Enable Bluetooth and Location. Both must be turned on for your phone to find the Casa.
- Open the app and choose your device. The Casa will appear on the device selection screen.
- Name your diffuser. On the Device Control page, set a device name and room label, then tap Save (top-right).
- Add a fragrance schedule. Tap the + icon to create one.
- Set the working period. Choose start and end times.
- Pick intensity and days. Select the grade and days of the week.
- Save. Tap Save to confirm. You can store up to 5 separate schedules in the app.
- Manage schedules. Toggle any schedule on or off on the Device Control page; swipe right to delete one.
Intensity & oil consumption
Each grade runs in short bursts with a rest interval between them. Actual oil use varies with the scent, viscosity, and ambient temperature.
| Grade | Work time | Rest time | Intensity |
|---|---|---|---|
| G1 | 20 sec | 85 sec | Gentle |
| G2 | 30 sec | 40 sec | Moderate |
| G3 | 50 sec | 60 sec | High |
| G4 | 150 sec | 15 sec | Intense |
| Custom | User-set | User-set | Custom |
For best diffusion, use essential oils with a viscosity below 30 mPa·s at room temperature.
How to clean the Scentia Casa
Clean the Casa whenever you switch scents, or if the mist output starts to weaken.
- Find a clean spare bottle and fill it with rubbing (isopropyl) alcohol.
- Install the alcohol bottle into the Casa and turn the machine on.
- Let it run for 5–10 minutes so the alcohol passes through the atomizer head.
- Turn the power off. The Casa is ready for fresh oil.
Switching scents without cleaning is the most common cause of weak or muddy fragrance.
Troubleshooting
Oil is leaking from the unit
- The bottle may be loose — screw it in properly and straight.
- The seal may be broken or missing — replace it with the supplied seal.
- The machine may be tilted — make sure it’s upright at all times.
The diffuser isn’t producing any mist
- Check that the power is ON.
- Confirm the current time is set correctly — the Casa only diffuses during programmed working periods.
- The pump may be damaged — replace it with a new one.
- The diffuser core may be damaged — replace the diffuser core.
Little or no spray coming out
- The atomization head may be blocked — clean it by running rubbing alcohol through the machine for 5–10 minutes, or replace the diffuser core.
- If diffusion is still weak after cleaning, replace the diffuser core.
The diffuser is spitting or sprinkling liquid
- The diffuser core with straw may be missing or damaged — replace it with a new one.
- The pump may be damaged — replace it.
Abnormal sound
- The pump may be loose — tighten it.
- If the noise continues, the pump may be damaged and need replacing.
Nothing displays on the LCD
- Confirm the power switch is ON.
- Check the plug for damage — try a different outlet or replace the plug.
- If the screen is unresponsive or garbled, restart the machine.
- If the display still won’t light, contact Scentia support.
The screen is frozen or showing garbled characters
Switch the power off and back on to restart the machine. If the issue persists, contact cs@scentiausa.com.
Please note: Do not modify, disassemble, or repair the Casa yourself. The machine will not diffuse outside its programmed working periods, even when the atomization icon is showing. While the screen is locked, the buttons cannot be operated. For any issue not solved above, contact Scentia support at cs@scentiausa.com.

Frequently asked questions
Does the Scentia Casa use water?
No. The Casa is a waterless cold-air diffuser that atomizes pure essential oil into a dry micro-mist. There’s no water to add and no residue on surfaces.
Can the Scentia Casa connect to my HVAC system?
Yes. The Casa is HVAC-compatible. With the optional PU tube and quick connector, the diffused mist can be fed into your HVAC return duct so scent travels throughout the home via your existing ventilation. The on-device fan control (long-press ↑ or ↓ for 3 seconds) triggers the connected fan. We recommend a professional installer connect the PU tube to your return duct.
How large an area does the Scentia Casa cover?
The Casa 2000 is rated for spaces up to 130 m² / ~14,100 cubic feet of air volume, making it suitable for whole homes, large open-plan spaces, vacation rentals, hotel suites, and small commercial spaces. With HVAC integration, the same unit can scent multiple rooms.
How many schedules can I program on the Casa?
The Casa supports up to 5 separate weekly working periods directly on the on-device LCD, plus up to 5 schedules in the Scentia app. Each schedule has its own start time, stop time, intensity grade, and days of the week.
How do I refill the Casa?
Unlock the machine with the included key, lift out the atomizer head, take out the 180 ml bottle, fill it with essential oil, screw the atomizer head tightly back onto the bottle, place it back into the machine, press down to seat the atomizer, and lock the machine with the key.
What oils can I use in the Casa?
Use water-free, low-viscosity essential or fragrance oils made for cold-air diffusers (viscosity below 30 mPa·s). All Scentia diffuser oils are formulated for this system. Avoid thick, carrier-heavy oils, which can clog the atomizer.
How do I switch between scents without mixing them?
Fill a spare bottle with rubbing alcohol, install it in the Casa, run the machine for 5–10 minutes, then switch to your new oil. This clears the atomizer so each scent stays crisp.
How do I reset the Scentia Casa to factory settings?
Tap and hold the ENT button for about 5 seconds until you hear a beep. The Casa will restore its factory settings.
How do I unlock the screen?
The screen locks automatically after 60 seconds of inactivity. To unlock, tap and hold the SET button for 3 seconds — the screen will light up.
Why isn’t the Casa diffusing even though the atomization icon is showing?
The Casa only diffuses during its programmed working periods. If the current time falls outside any active working period, the icon may still be displayed but no mist will be produced. Check that the current time is set correctly and that your working periods cover the time of day you expect diffusion.
